Terms of service

Last updated: 27 July 2026

Who we are, and what these terms cover

Visor is operated by Visordesk Ltd ("Visor", "we"), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17362830) with registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. These terms cover this website (visordesk.com) and the Visor application (app.visordesk.com). By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Questions: [email protected].

What Visor is — and is not

Visor is a market intelligence workspace: charts, data, analytics, and educational content, presented the same way to every user. It provides general information only.

Visor is not financial, investment, or trading advice. Nothing in the service is a personal recommendation, an invitation to trade, or a suggestion that any investment is suitable for you. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not know your circumstances. You must not rely on Visor as the basis for any trading or investment decision — do your own research, and take independent advice where you need it. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Capital at risk.

Early access

Visor is currently in early access. We may grant, limit, suspend, or withdraw access at our discretion while we build, and features may change or be removed without notice. We don't promise the service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. Give us accurate information, keep one account per person, and tell us if you think your account has been compromised. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Subscriptions and billing

Some parts of Visor are paid. Prices and what they include are shown before you buy, and payment is handled by Stripe — your card details never touch our servers. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

If you're a UK or EU consumer you normally have a 14-day cooling-off right. Because Visor is a digital service supplied immediately, at checkout you consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose that cancellation right once supply begins. This doesn't affect your other statutory rights.

Fair use

The service is for your personal use within the app. You agree not to: scrape, bulk-export, redistribute, or resell any data, analytics, or content from Visor; share access or circumvent plan limits; reverse-engineer the service; probe or disrupt our infrastructure; or use Visor for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Market data and third-party content

Market data, news, and other content in Visor come from third-party sources. They may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or interrupted, and we don't verify them. All data and analytics are provided "as available" for general information — never treat a figure in Visor as the definitive price of anything.

AI-generated content

Parts of Visor's analysis and commentary are generated by AI. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and is provided as general information under the same no-advice terms as everything else in the service.

Intellectual property

The Visor software, brand, design, and content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the service while these terms are in force — nothing more. Anything you build inside Visor — your layouts, watchlists, and strategies — remains yours; you grant us the licence we need to store it and show it back to you as part of running the service. If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without obligation.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.

Subject to that: we are not liable for trading or investment losses, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) Visor or from any decision you make using information in it. Our total liability to you for everything else is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or £100 if you've paid nothing). If you use Visor as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Ending or changing things

You can stop using Visor and close your account at any time. We may update these terms as the service evolves — if a change materially affects you, we'll flag it in the app or by email, and continuing to use Visor after that means you accept it. The version on this page is always current.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts — though if you live elsewhere in the UK or EU as a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections and court rights of your home country. For privacy, see our privacy notice.
