The Daily Brief
The Daily Brief is the digest version of everything else — a once-a-glance summary of what has happened across the instruments Visor covers in the last 24 hours. Where the feed is a live stream and the scanner is a live ranking, the brief is the read-it-with-coffee version.
What it aggregates
The brief pulls together three sections from the recent window:
- Patterns — notable chart patterns the engine detected, with the ticker and a short read.
- Movers — the tickers with the most signal activity, each with its signal count, categories, and (where available) a seasonal read.
- Headlines — the day's matched news, by ticker, each with an expandable analysis and a link to the source.
Tailored, not chosen for you
If you've turned on personalisation, the brief is tailored to the symbols you follow — the movers and headlines narrow toward your watchlist. That is personalisation in Visor's sense: it changes which of your interests it surfaces, never which investments you should make. The brief is the same kind of general market observation for everyone; the tailoring only decides which observations are most relevant to what you already watch.
How to use it
The brief is a starting point for a proper look, not a to-do list. A pattern in the brief is a fact about the past few bars; a mover is a note that something is active; a headline is a pointer to a source you can go and read. None of it is a prediction, and none of it is a recommendation. Used well, five minutes with the brief tells you where the day's attention is and where yours might usefully go — and then you open a chart and do the real work.
